What do you charge for your services?
I provide a cost estimate based on the specifics of each project. This allows me to be more flexible to the unique needs of every client and allows you to better plan for your budget. If you have a budget in mind, sharing it upfront can help both of us to better set expectations and understand the scope of work. Otherwise, I will provide an estimate for you to review and approve before I begin.
I don't know what kind of writing/editing services I need. Can you help?
No problem! I love helping my clients figure out what they need and how I can provide it. If you have something started, I can help determine where you are with your current draft and share recommendations and a plan of action to get you to the finish line. Maybe this means a full rework of your content or just a final proofread. If you're still in the brainstorming stage, I will help you get your thoughts down on paper and build out from there. No matter what you need, I can help you meet your vision and goals
How quickly can I book you to do my project?
I am always open to new projects, and depending on my schedule, I can accept quick turnarounds and tight deadlines. Because I understand that every project is unique and each client has unique needs, I am committed to doing what I can to accommodate you. What other services can you provide?
Strategy and roadmapping — As a seasoned project manager, I have experience planning and implementing strategic communications campaigns for diverse government clients, providing innovative ideas and thoughtful recommendations to meet and exceed desired outcomes. I am always happy to help my clients brainstorm and/or map out their efforts.
Video production and editing — With a degree in film and background in film production, I regularly provide support to my clients on their video projects at all stages of the development process. I also provide hands-on assistance for simple editing projects such as recorded meetings, presentations, or interviews. I am fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Apple iMovie, and YouTube Studio.
Plain language training — As a passionate advocate for plain language, I offer customized trainings on plain language best practices for small groups. I tailor these trainings to your needs using specific examples that show how you can implement plain language in your work. My previous trainings have included staff at HHS and NIH.
